What are pre-orders?

Pre-orders are orders placed during the winter off-season after the most recent shipping season has ended. Pre-orders are delivered to you in the upcoming spring season.

When do pre-orders ship?

Pre-orders placed during the winter off-season typically ship in April. Exact shipping times are determined by weather.

Why are there pre-orders?

Pre-orders allow you to get your orders in early and have them shipped as soon as possible in the spring. They also helps us gauge plant demand and allocate inventory as best we can. Some plants can sell out quickly so pre-orders give you the best chance at getting the plants you want. Pre-orders are also a great holiday gift idea so order a plant or two for your plant enthusiast friends and family!

How can I place a pre-order?

You place a pre-order just like you place an order during the growing season.

  • Visit a plant product page
  • Select plant size
  • Enter your zip code to see if the plant is available to ship to your location
  • Select the quantity you want and add it to shopping cart
  • Verify items in your cart and then checkout
Who can I contact about the status of my pre-order?

Just click the little help bubble in the lower right-hand corner of this page. You can chat with available customer service or submit a help ticket and we will reply with the status of your order.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes, pre-orders can be canceled and refunded before they ship.

When do I pay for pre-orders?

Pre-orders are paid in full when the order is placed.
