With the holidays around the corner, there isn’t a better time to get into the DIY spirit. There are so many fun ways to craft and decorate for the season with your Endless Summer® hydrangeas, but we’re breaking down ornaments and keychains today. These are perfect ways to get some extra love out of your hydrangeas once the blooming season is over and make great gifts for family and friends.
Let’s dive right in!
The Necessary Tools

Step 1: Cut the sepals
Cut the individual flowers (sepals) off your hydrangea bloom. Make sure to cut as close to the flower as possible, so there is very little stem attached to your flower. This will make it easier to glue to your ornament.
Step 2: Glue the sepals to the ornament
Begin gluing your cut flowers to the ornament. You can do this however you’d like, so feel free to get creative!
Step 3: Glue on top of the placed sepals
Once you’ve glued your sepals down where you want them on your ornament, apply a layer of glue over the top of the petals. This ensures the sepal will be firmly adhered to the ornament.
Step 4: Repeat
Repeat the above process until you have completed your ornament.
Step 5: Optionally, add any embellishments you’d like
You can do this at any point while creating your ornament, but feel free to add any glitter, paint, greenery or any other crafting element that you’d like to make your ornament your own.
Step 6: Allow to dry and enjoy!
Give your ornament enough time to full dry before you wrap it up for a friend or add it to your tree.
