DIY Dried Hydrangea
Christmas Tree

Are you getting ready for the Holiday season? Don’t forget about your Endless Summer® Hydrangeas when decorating your space. This Christmas tree made of dried hydrangeas is an adorable addition to your holiday decor, and it’s so easy that you can make it at home with just a few items. Follow along below for step-by-step instructions.

What You’ll Need:

Step 1: Gather the Materials

A trip to your local craft store should allow you to gather most of the materials for this project. The only thing you need to do at home is dry your Endless Summer® Hydrangeas. Drying hydrangeas is fun, easy, and once you know how, you can complete even more DIY crafts with your blooms. Watch our video on how to dry hydrangea blooms to learn how to do so at home.

Step 2: Cut the Hydrangeas

Cut the stems on your hydrangeas down to a more manageable length. Then, cut the blooms into smaller groups of flowers. Clusters of roughly two inches are perfect!

Step 3: Glue the Hydrangeas to the Foam

Now it’s time to assemble! Glue the hydrangea clusters to the foam cone using the hot glue gun. Start at the base and move up the cone, filling in the entire surface so you can’t see the foam underneath.

Step 4: Enjoy the Holiday Season!

And just like that, you have a beautiful hydrangea tree that will bring festive cheer to any space! Remember to share your creations with us on social by tagging @endlesssummerhydrangeas and, most importantly, have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
